Palcoyo Mountain Full Day
On this tour we will pick you up at 04:00 a.m. to visit one of the new tourist circuits of Cusco, the “LAS 7 LAGUNAS” trekking, a trip that will take us 03:30 hrs. to the South East of the city of Cusco towards the town of Pacchanta, located at 4,200 meters above sea level. In the past, only those who ventured to hike to the snow-capped Ausangate visited it. Nowadays it has become one of the most visited places by travelers, attracted by its trails with rural roads and its imposing lagoons of different colors and shades that are the product of the thaws of the majestic APU AUSANGATE mountain.
Doing this trek of the 7 Lagoons will take you approximately 05:00 hrs. The lagoons to visit are: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, Orqo Otorongo and China Otorongo. Crossing its different landscape scenarios with a moderate difficulty where we will observe alpacas, llamas, vizcachas (chinchilla), huallatas (ducks), foxes, carancho (Andean falcon), yanarico (Andean swamp crow) and other varieties.
We will be returning to our base in the town of Pacchanta at 01:00 p.m. approximately where we can enjoy the thermal medicinal water pools of Pacchanta, later we will enjoy our lunch made with Andean products.
Finally we will return to the city of Cusco, ending our tour.
