  • Full name
  • Passport or ID number
  • Nationality
  • Age & Gender

Payments & Pricing

Payments: To secure reservations for hotels, flights, bus or train tickets, guides, camping equipment, trekking, etc., and to cover our administrative costs, a 30% deposit is required as the first payment. The final balance must be paid in dollars or soles at our office. We recommend paying in cash. We accept card payments with an additional 8% fee, which covers bank charges.

Prices: Prices are listed in US dollars and Soles. When making the final payment in cash, very old or damaged bills will not be accepted. Banks in Peru do not accept damaged bills for security reasons. We recommend that you do not accept bills in such conditions to avoid issues during transactions.

Discounts:

  • Student Discounts: If you are claiming a student discount, you must send us a scanned copy of your valid university ID for validation.
  • Child Discounts: Children receive a discount. To avail of this, you must send us a scanned copy of their passport or ID.

Modifications & Cancellation Policies

Modifications to Your Reservation: Any modifications to the original reservation must be confirmed in writing via email or WhatsApp in advance. Any costs or fees charged by our service providers as a result of the modification will be billed to the client. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes and additional requests, but availability is not guaranteed.

Cancellation Policies: In case of cancellation, you must inform us in writing. Cancellation fees will be applied calculated from the day we receive the written modification. In addition to our fees, airlines and hotels may impose a 100% cancellation fee (non-refundable).

Partial Group Cancellations: If a client cancels their reservation but the rest of the group continues with the service, no cash refund will be provided. However, we will provide the physical/digital tickets purchased at the time of reservation (Machu Picchu entrance, train tickets, bus tickets, etc.). These tickets must be used on the requested date and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Note on Last-Minute Cancellations: Last-minute cancellations of the contracted service are completely non-refundable, as all logistics, tickets, and staff have already been paid and organized.

Health, Medical Conditions & Personal Safety

Individuals with medical conditions or disabilities that may affect the service must disclose this information before traveling. Our company provides travelers with an oxygen bottle and a medical kit to prevent altitude sickness. However, each person is responsible for their own personal safety and must have adequate travel insurance.

If a client interferes with the well-being of the service or group, the guide may order the client to leave the group without any liability limited to the price paid for the contracted service.

Passports, Visas, Vaccines & Insurance

Passports & Visas: It is the client’s responsibility to possess valid documents, visa permits, proof of vaccines, and preventive medications required during the service. Failure to disclose medical conditions at booking constitutes a breach of conditions and may result in exclusion from the service without a refund.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing a comprehensive travel medical insurance plan. We do not provide or include travel or accident insurance in our costs. In the event of an accident and/or emergency evacuation, all costs are borne by the individual client.

Force Majeure & Complaints

Force Majeure: Marfes Tours Perú is not responsible for force majeure events such as: threats of war, riots, industrial disputes, terrorist activities, natural disasters, strikes, fires, adverse weather conditions, technical issues with transportation, or similar events.

Complaints Procedure: If you have a complaint about the service, you must immediately inform the guide or a company representative so we can rectify the situation on the spot. Any other formal complaints must be submitted directly to the manager at our office in Cusco. Failure to file a complaint immediately will impair the passenger’s right to claim.
