Kick off your 7‑day Peru adventure with a captivating half‑day Lima City Tour. Explore the vibrant neighborhoods of Miraflores and San Isidro, marvel at the Malecón de Miraflores overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and stroll through the Plaza de Armas—home to the Cathedral, Government Palace, and Archbishop’s Palace

Day 2 – Ica & Paracas: Ballestas Islands, Pisco, Dunes & Desert Adventures
Start early from Lima and head south toward the iconic Paracas Peninsula, where you’ll embark on a scenic boat ride to the famed Ballestas Islands. Marvel at the wildlife—sea lions, Humboldt penguins, pelicans—and the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph etched into the desert cliffside.
Next, journey inland to Ica, the heartland of Peruvian pisco and wines. Visit a local vineyard or winery to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of delicious pisco and wine.
Finally, experience the adrenaline of the desert at Huacachina Oasis. Race across massive sand dunes in a buggy, and try your hand at sandboarding—an exhilarating climax to your day
This exciting day blends wildlife, culture, flavors, and adventure—perfectly capturing Peru’s coastal and desert beauty.
Day 3 – Cusco City Tour: Inca Ruins & Colonial Heritage
Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire, welcomes you with its vibrant energy, rich culture, and breathtaking altitude. This morning, you’ll enjoy a guided city tour designed to help you acclimate while discovering the city’s most iconic sites. At 9:30 a.m., your local guide will pick you up for a fascinating walk through centuries of history and architecture.
The tour begins at Qoricancha, the legendary Temple of the Sun. Once the most sacred site in the Inca Empire, it was famously lined with gold walls before being converted into the colonial Convent of Santo Domingo. From there, you’ll head to the Cathedral of Cusco on the Plaza de Armas, a masterpiece of Spanish colonial art filled with priceless paintings and sculptures.
Next, we’ll drive to the outskirts of Cusco to visit Sacsayhuamán, an immense fortress of cyclopean stonework with panoramic views of the entire city. The tour continues to Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial site carved directly into rock, believed to be used for spiritual rituals. You'll then explore Puca Pucara, a reddish stone military post that served as a control point, and finally, Tambomachay, the Inca Baths, known for its complex and advanced hydraulic system.
After the tour, you'll return to your hotel in Cusco to rest and prepare for the next adventure: an immersive journey through the heart of the Sacred Valley.
Day 4 – Sacred Valley Highlights: Chinchero, Moray, Maras & Ollantaytambo
Your Sacred Valley adventure begins at 7:00 a.m. in Cusco’s Plaza Regocijo, where you’ll meet your guide and board our comfortable coach for a 45-minute drive into Peru’s most fertile valley.
Our first stop is Chinchero, a charming Andean village famed for its living culture. Explore partially restored Inca walls, a 17-century colonial church, and a vibrant textile center where local artisans demonstrate traditional weaving techniques and natural dyeing—an immersive cultural experience you won’t find elsewhere.
Next, continue to Moray, an impressive series of concentric agricultural terraces thought to be an Inca “laboratory” for crop experimentation at different micro-climates. The sweeping circular ruins and surrounding peaks make for spectacular photos and deepen your understanding of ancient innovation.
A short drive away lies the dazzling Maras Salt Mines. Walk past thousands of glimmering white evaporation pools that have produced salt since Inca times. Browse artisanal salt products—perfect, lightweight souvenirs that support local families.
Around 12:30 p.m., recharge with a buffet lunch in Urubamba, enjoying fresh Peruvian dishes that showcase Andean ingredients and vegetarian options.
In the afternoon you’ll explore Ollantaytambo, one of the Sacred Valley’s most impressive Inca fortresses. Climb stone terraces to the Temple of the Sun, admire ceremonial fountains, and gaze over the still-inhabited Inca town below—an open-air museum of living history.
As sunset approaches, board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). After checking into your hotel, enjoy a free evening to relax, shop for local crafts, or soak in the thermal baths—resting up for tomorrow’s once-in-a-lifetime visit to Machu Picchu.
Day 5 – Machu Picchu
After an early breakfast in Aguas Calientes, you’ll board one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu’s entrance to enjoy the best morning light and lighter crowds.
Your local guide will lead a 2.5‑hour walking tour, covering the must-see highlights: Temple of the Sun, Main Plaza, agricultural terraces, Intihuatana and the Royal Quarters. You’ll learn about the Inca’s architecture, spiritual practices, and how they engineered this UNESCO World Heritage site.
You can also add an optional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain — which must be booked in advance due to limited permits and involves an additional cost. Availability varies daily.
After the guided tour, ride the shuttle back to Aguas Calientes, where you'll have time for lunch on your own, shopping, or a relaxing soak in the local hot springs. In the afternoon, board your train to Ollantaytambo, where a private vehicle will take you back to your hotel in Cusco, readying you for tomorrow’s hike to Rainbow Mountain.
H2: Day 6 – Rainbow Mountain Hike (Vinicunca)
Today’s adventure begins with an early hotel pickup around 4:30 a.m. in Cusco. From there, you’ll take a scenic 3-hour drive to the community of Cusipata, where you’ll have a light breakfast before starting your trek.
The hike to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) starts at approximately 4,700 meters (15,400 feet) above sea level. The trail is gradual but high in altitude, and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit at 5,100 meters (16,700 feet). Your guide will accompany you throughout, offering support and information about the mineral composition that gives the mountain its famous colors.
At the top, enjoy time to rest, take photos, and admire the panoramic views of the Andes and Ausangate glacier. Afterward, you’ll descend the same route and return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch featuring local dishes.
You’ll return to Cusco by approximately 5:00 p.m., with the evening free to relax before your final departure.
Day 7 – Departure: Cusco to Lima
On your final day in Peru, enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Cusco. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll have free time in the morning for last-minute souvenir shopping or a short walk around the city center.
At the appropriate time, a private transfer will take you to the Cusco Airport (CUZ) for your domestic flight back to Lima. If you're connecting to an international flight the same day, we recommend booking an afternoon or evening departure to allow sufficient time.

Peru 7 day Tour FAQs
How do Machu Picchu ticket circuits work?
Since June 2024, Machu Picchu implemented a timed ticketing system with multiple circuits (“Classic,” “Panoramic,” etc.). You must select one circuit when booking. Availability depends on the ticket type, and each circuit routes you through a predefined path for crowd control and conservation
Can I hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain?
Yes, but permits are limited and require advance booking. You must notify us before the tour to include this option. Additional fees apply. Not all permits are available every day, so early reservation is essential
What’s the best season to visit Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain?
Peru’s dry season (April to October) offers the best weather with fewer rain delays. Peak months are June–August; train and entrance tickets sell out fast. For a quieter experience, aim for shoulder months like April–May or September–October .
Is altitude sickness a concern? How should I prepare?
Absolutely. Cusco sits around 3,400 m; Rainbow Mountain is over 5,100 m. Acclimatize gradually—start light on Day 3 with the city tour. Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol on arrival days, and consider coca tea or over-the-counter remedies. Oxygen is available at most hotels
