Itinerary

We will begin by picking you up from your accommodation or agreed meeting point at the scheduled time. Our first destination will be the main cathedral of Cusco, home to impressive colonial-era artwork. After this visit, we will proceed to the Temple of the Sun, known as Qoricancha, one of the most significant places from the Inca period.

Next, we will travel by transport to the majestic site of Sacsayhuamán, famous for its enigmatic monoliths weighing over 100 tons. Our guide will share fascinating information about this site.

From Sacsayhuamán, we will continue to the archaeological complex of Qenqo, where we will explore more of the Inca history. Then, we will visit the archaeological center of Puka Pukara and, finally, Tambomachay, an archaeological site known for its impressive water fountains and its religious significance related to water.

At the end of this fascinating journey, we will return to Cusco, concluding our tour at the Plaza de Armas or the designated drop-off point.

Yes, but with caution. It is essential to keep an eye on children at all times and assist elderly travelers, as some areas of the tour have uneven and irregular terrain. However, the tour is generally accessible and can be enjoyed at a comfortable pace.

Yes, it is recommended. Cusco is located at 3,399 meters above sea level, so some visitors may experience altitude sickness (soroche). It is best to rest for a few hours, stay well-hydrated, and avoid heavy meals before the tour.

This tour is available year-round. However, the best time to enjoy it is between April and October, during the dry season, to avoid rain. If traveling during the rainy season (November to March), we recommend bringing a raincoat.

The tour operates normally, even in the rain. We suggest bringing a waterproof poncho or an umbrella, as Cusco’s weather can be unpredictable.
