DAY 01.- AREQUIPA – CHIVAY + LUNCH.
Early in the morning we will leave for the Colca Valley located in the Province of Caylloma at 3,600 m.a.s.l. On the route we will pass through the district of Yura, Pampa Cañahua, a place where you can see the vicuñas, we will pass by what was the crater of the Chucura volcano. Likewise, we will arrive at Patapampa, the highest point (4,800 m.a.s.l.) from where you will see the largest number of volcanoes that exist in the department of Arequipa. We will arrive at the town of Chivay and check into the hotel. Then we will have time to have lunch.
At the appropriate time we will visit the thermal baths of La Calera (optional).

DAY 02.- CHIVAY – CRUZ DEL CÓNDOR – AREQUIPA.
Breakfast.
We will leave immediately to visit the Cruz del Cóndor, a place with an impressive view of the valley and from where we will be able to appreciate the flight of the condors and the depth of the canyon (3,400 meters deep). On the way back we will be able to visit the town of Pinchollo, the Pre-Inca Hanging Tombs, Litomaquetas, the town of Maca, the town of Yanque and Chivay.
Return to Arequipa.

What is the best time to take this tour?
The tour is available year-round, but the best time is from April to November when the weather is drier, and there is a higher chance of seeing condors at the Cruz del Cóndor.
Is visiting the La Calera hot springs mandatory?
No, visiting the hot springs is optional. If you choose to enter, you should bring a swimsuit and pay the entrance fee.
Is this tour suitable for people with altitude sickness?
The tour reaches a maximum altitude of 4,800 meters (15,748 ft). It is recommended to acclimatize in Arequipa beforehand and bring medication or herbal infusions if needed.
Can I bring large suitcases on the tour?
It is recommended to bring only a small backpack or bag with essentials for two days, as space on the tourist transport is limited.
Does the tour include meals?
No, meals are not included in the package. However, there will be stops at restaurants where travelers can purchase their meals.
