This full-day adventure takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Salkantay region, with a scenic hike that offers panoramic views of glaciers, lush valleys, and high-altitude flora and fauna. Along the way, you’ll witness the beauty of the Andean mountains, local wildlife, and the sacred importance of this lagoon in Inca culture.

Humantay Lagoon Full Day
Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay
Our tour will begin with pick-up from the hotel between 4:30 to 5:00 am and then we will board our transportation to the Mollepata district (approximately 2 hours). Arriving at this small and picturesque town we will have our American breakfast and then free time to use the bathrooms, buy hydrating drinks and snacks. Later we will continue our trip for 1 additional hour to Soraypampa with an altitude of 3900 meters above sea level (starting point of our walk).
Our adventure begins with a panoramic view of the snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay. Where we will have a brief description of the walk, recommendations and instructions from our Guide before starting the ascent; Once ready we will begin our journey to the Humantay lagoon located at 4300m, after the ascent of approximately one and a half hours we will be able to appreciate the magical lagoon at the foot of the snow-capped Humantay, it is there where we will have the respective explanation of the place and of course free time for photographs, enjoy and explore the shores of the Turquoise Lagoon.
Once satisfied with the majesty of this place, we will return to our mobility that awaits us in Soraypampa, and then return to the town of Mollepata where our Lunch awaits us. Later we will return to the city of Cusco, ending our tour at approximately 5:00 pm.
